Senior Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives – GEMS Education, Dubai
GEMS Education is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of strategic projects. This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of new school developments, campus extensions, and significant organizational change initiatives aligned with our core strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver multiple GEMS strategic projects concurrently.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Report on project status, milestones, and outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in education or organizational development.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
