CHINT, a globally recognized leader in smart energy solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Controller and Accounting Lead to join our dynamic team in Dubai. Operating across more than 150 countries, CHINT is dedicated to driving sustainable growth and operational excellence. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring robust financial governance, and spearheading strategic financial planning across the region. You will be instrumental in aligning regional financial activities with global policies, enhancing financial performance, and fostering operational efficiency for sustained growth. As a key strategic partner to regional business leadership, you will guide and develop regional finance teams, encompassing financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, taxation, compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial strategy for the region, ensuring alignment with overarching corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with regional business leaders to enhance profitability, drive growth, and improve operational efficiency.
• Offer strategic financial insights and recommendations to facilitate informed investment decisions, mergers & acquisitions, and market expansion initiatives.
• Develop and implement comprehensive financial policies, frameworks, and best practices that adhere to global standards.
• Spearhead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes for the region.
• Oversee financial performance monitoring against budgets, providing detailed variance analysis and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and sophisticated financial models to support critical decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within a multinational corporation.
• Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, treasury, taxation, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS).
• Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning and risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
• Experience managing and developing finance teams across multiple jurisdictions.
