Learning & Development Manager – The St. Regis Jakarta

This role is part of the Human Resources team and is responsible for driving company values, philosophies, and strategic learning initiatives. The Learning & Development Manager ensures every training and development activity is directly aligned with the organization's goals, culture, and performance standards.

Job Purpose

The Learning & Development Manager plays a key leadership role in shaping the capability, engagement, and growth of talent. This position supports the hotel's commitment to exceptional service by identifying skill gaps, delivering impactful development programs, and building a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Align all training and development initiatives with company values and strategic objectives.
• Drive learning culture through onboarding, leadership development, technical training, and service excellence programs.
• Assess training needs across departments and create annual learning plans.
• Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and e-learning modules.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and ROI analysis.
• Partner with department heads to support employee development, succession planning, and talent retention.
• Manage the training budget, resources, and external learning providers.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and maintain training records and certifications.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong experience in learning and development, talent management, or human resources, ideally in luxury hospitality.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training programs for diverse teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
• Leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical skills to measure training impact and drive continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in learning management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Relevant certifications in training, coaching, or HR are preferred.
