About the Role

Join our Process Automation Factory within Digital & Technology Platform Services as an Automation Developer. You will design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and business process optimization, leveraging leading RPA platforms and modern development practices.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation workflows using RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Power Automate) and custom scripts (Python, C#, .NET).
• Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to assess automation feasibility, define requirements, and map current-state processes.
• Build reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to accelerate delivery and ensure consistency across automation projects.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting for production-grade bots.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and UAT support; ensure compliance with security, governance, and change-management standards.
• Deploy and manage automation solutions in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) across dev, test, and production environments.
• Optimize existing automations for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency; refactor legacy bots to modern architectures.
• Document technical designs, runbooks, and SOPs; contribute to the automation center of excellence knowledge base.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade automation solutions.
• Proficiency in at least one major RPA platform: UiPath (Advanced certification preferred), Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Automate.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, VB.NET, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL databases, and version control (Git).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD concepts.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI/ML integration in automation (document understanding, computer vision, NLP).
• Experience with process mining tools (UiPath Process Mining, Celonis, Minit).
• Cloud platform familiarity (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of low-code/no-code platforms (Power Apps, Mendix, OutSystems).
• Certifications: UiPath RPA Developer Advanced, Blue Prism Developer, Microsoft PL-500.
