The Internal Communications Architect Who Shapes Culture at PepsiCo Egypt
Who We're Looking For
You are the strategist who knows that internal communication isn't about broadcasting — it's about building belief. You understand that in a powerhouse like PepsiCo North Africa, the way 1,000+ employees think, feel, and act determines whether iconic brands win in the market. You don't just write messages; you design movements. You translate complex business strategy into narratives that resonate from the factory floor to the leadership suite. You're fluent in Arabic and English, culturally rooted in Egypt, and globally calibrated. You've led change communication during transformations, crises, and growth cycles. You measure impact, not just output.
What You'll Own
- Architect and execute the internal communications strategy across PepsiCo North Africa, aligning employee experience with business priorities.
- Partner with HR, Leadership, and Business Units to cascade strategy — from Vision 2030 goals to quarterly commercial pushes — into clear, compelling stories.
- Lead executive communications for Country Manager and Leadership Team: town halls, leadership videos, strategic emails, and speaking scripts.
- Own the digital employee experience: intranet (SharePoint/Viva Engage), mobile app, newsletters, and emerging channels.
- Design and run culture-shaping campaigns: values activation, DE&I storytelling, recognition programs, and purpose-driven initiatives.
- Crisis and change communication lead: restructuring, M&A integration, safety incidents, market volatility — you own the narrative.
- Build measurement rigor: pulse surveys, channel analytics, focus groups, and ROI reporting to prove comms drives engagement and business results.
- Coach people managers to be effective communicators — toolkits, talking points, feedback loops.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships for creative production, video, events, and platform administration.
What You Bring
- 8+ years progressive internal communications experience, ideally in FMCG, multinational, or matrixed organizations.
- Proven track record leading IC for 500+ employees across multiple sites/countries.
- Native Arabic fluency; business-level English (written and spoken).
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Viva, Teams, Outlook) and modern IC platforms.
- Strong business acumen — you speak the language of P&L, supply chain, commercial, and HR.
- Change management certification (Prosci/ADKAR) or equivalent practical experience.
- Executive presence: you advise senior leaders, you don't just take orders.
- Data-driven mindset: you set KPIs, track them, and iterate.
- Cultural intelligence: you navigate Egyptian workplace dynamics while upholding global standards.
What Sets This Role Apart
This isn't a support function. It's a seat at the table where business strategy meets human behavior. You'll shape how thousands of Egyptians experience one of the world's most iconic brand portfolios — daily. You'll have the budget, the platform access, and the leadership sponsorship to do work that gets case-studied. The bar is high. The impact is real. If you're the IC professional who refuses to settle for 'good enough' — this is your next chapter.
