HVAC Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead the operation, maintenance, and overhaul of screw chillers and related HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, specifically in air-conditioning and refrigeration, and a proven track record of supervising teams in industrial or commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily HVAC operations, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for screw chillers, air handlers, and cooling towers.
• Coordinate overhaul and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
• Lead a team of technicians, providing training and technical guidance.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools.

Qualifications

• Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in operation, maintenance, and overhauling of screw chillers and HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and HVAC controls.
• Proven supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Skills Required

Technical Skills: Expertise in screw chiller operation, HVAC diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair. Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and energy management.

Soft Skills: Leadership, team management, effective communication, and attention to detail.
